I heard from a published author that the "simultaneous notice" was no longer the rule. Not so?
I think that it’s common to submit to agents simultaneously, but if you have an offer, then you should let all the other agents know.
Most people get right back to you with a no.
most queries are done online now, so I think it’s cheaper to submit, and they send a quick email response
How many postcards were returned to you?
People in agencies will talk to each other about the submissions. Sometimes they'll hand a manuscript to someone else in the agency if it is something the other agent is looking for.
Finding an agent is a little like dating. You have to get to know them before you make a committment.
It really depends on the agent. Some communicate with you a lot, others don't.
Hey, everyone, sorry I need to go, I have a critique group meeting tonight. Happy writing!
Have to hop off now. Thanks. I'll check the recording.
